LLART 73 - Experimental Water Media Painting

This advanced class will explore the possibilities of mixing diverse water media on paper. Transparent watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paints will be used as well as ink, crayons, and pencils. The focus will be on the process, with an emphasis on the duality of construction/destruction. Composition, including value, color, line, shape, and texture, will be central to the class. We'll discuss materials at the first class. Participants will receive directions to the studio upon enrollment.
