PROED 515 - Fire Service Leadership Academy: Level 1 Certification, Phase One.

The Fire Service Leadership Level I Certification program addresses the unique educational development needs of fire service professionals who seek to prepare, improve, or expand their leadership skills and fire service knowledge. Designed in cooperation with the Salt Lake Fire Alliance, this certificate requires participants to complete two phases of 3-day intensive training programs. Phase One of the Level I training provides an opportunity to learn relevant leadership skills such as team building, effective human resource management, handling the media in times of crisis, and understanding the history and contemporary status of terrorism. The Fire Service Leadership Academy also provides a great opportunity to network with and learn from experiences of other fire service professionals from across the state.
