FILM 3750 - Third World Cinema

A survey of key films and movements of the cinemas of developing nations known as "The Third World." This includes most nations of Africa and Latin America, as well as parts of Asia. Styles, themes, and social context of the films will be analyzed, and contrasted with the aesthetics of the films of dominant industries of the East and West.
