LLHU 300 - Comparative Religion

As the events of the last few years have shown, understanding and tolerance of one another's religious beliefs are essential to world peace and harmony. In this six-week course, we'll look at the fundamental tenets of Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism and the insights they give us into the peoples of the world. Aiding us in our discovery will be guest presenters representing various religions. Be prepared for a lively inquiry with plenty of time for group discussion, questions, and responses.
