LLCFT 170 - Beginning Weaving

Learn the basics of 4-harness loom weaving in this seven-week course. In addition to warping, or dressing, the loom and calculating yarn requirements, you'll explore various weaves as you weave a sampler and a self-designed project. The emphasis is on becoming a weaver; the possibilities are endless. Create the fabrics and projects you?ve dreamed of! Fee includes the use of the loom and two yards of warp. You are responsible for your own yarn for the weft; we will discuss yarn during the first class. Please bring a notebook to the first class.
