LLART 144 - Wearable Art: Take Your Wardrobe from Mundane to Marvelous

Hand pick everyday clothing from your closet or a thrift store and convert the items into wearable works of art. This four-week workshop will teach you how to embellish ordinary clothing items by practicing a different technique every week: printing or stenciling on the fabric; adding chenille; adding threads, yarns, beads, or rhinestones; or printing photographic images onto your clothing. These techniques will also work with accessories such as handbags and scarves, home decor, and yardage. Students should bring clothing or fabric to embellish. Special fee covers embellishments.
