Course Description: The Rhetoric of Yoga Class brings the critical lens of rhetorical theory to contemporary Euro-American and South Asian yoga practices. Through examining primary source and commentary discourses on yoga as well as through first-hand practice of yoga, students will develop a critical gaze towards depictions of yoga, both from South Asia and the West.
