Description
This is a full semester course, which is open to graduate students in the Master of Science inPharmacology and Toxicology program as a foundational course. It is also open to graduate students in the PhD program as an elective. In this course, students will be introduced to theoretical and hands-on experiences using state-of-the-art methods for pharmacological and toxicological research and/or drug development. Subject matters include cutting-edge drug delivery systems, commonly used analytical techniques and data acquisition and critical review, and the application of preclinical models of disease states (in vivo, ex vivo, in vivo).
