Description
This course is designed for doctoral students to understand the implementation of various evidence-based practices, interventions, and usable innovations in education-related settings including multi-tiered systems of support in school-wide, district-wide, and community-based settings. This includes understanding the interaction of behavioral, health, and academic outcomes, processes for scaling-up evidence-based practices, and understanding the application of foundational theories, frameworks, and tools in implementation science. In addition, the course will discuss the relationship to principles of consultation and partnerships with schools, districts, and community organizations serving children with and without disabilities; including considerations for culture and community when scaling-up interventions.
