Description
The Continuity Clinic Family Medicine course is an optional elective course for students in the Family Medicine section of the Primary Care Track. The primary goal is to prepare the student for their upcoming ambulatory continuity clinic experience during their residency.
Students will participate in a yearlong longitudinal experience in an ambulatory setting. Each students will work with a preceptor in the same setting over the course of 16 to 20 half-day clinic sessions. Total time in clinic will be approximately 80 hours total for the year, which equates to 2 credits. This course fulfills both ambulatory and clinical credit requirements.
