Description
This course will explore patient-centered and preference-based outcome measurement (PROs and PROMs) with a focus on how to develop, implement, analyze and interpret the data derived from these measures using health-economic and outcome research methods from several perspectives: societal, governmental, insurer, healthcare system, provider, and patient/individual. These skills are foundational in Population Health Sciences Research, an important addition to our program. Students should have the ability to code in a programming language (SAS, STATA, R, Python) and basic statistical knowledge is recommended.
