This course focuses on pathophysiology, pharmacology, and health assessment in the context of health, wellness, and acute and chronic illness. Utilizing a concept-based approach, the course explores the assessment of patients and population groups impacted by acute and chronic disease with an analysis of advanced pathophysiology and pharmacology underlying these conditions. In addition to these clinical elements, the course integrates concepts related to care – including health and risk assessment, effective communication, and ethical considerations.
