Description
The Advanced Methods in Dissemination and Implementation Science course covers advanced methods in Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) science with a particular focus on testing and evaluating implementation strategies and implementation initiatives in healthcare, community, school, and other systems that delivery evidence-based interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of populations domestically and globally. The course will cover methods for strategy selection, partnership formation, study and trial design, process and outcome measurement and evaluation, qualitative and statistical analysis, the selection and application of D&I theories, models, and frameworks, and grant/manuscript writing for D&I research. Students are required to have completed the Introduction to Dissemination and Implementation Science (or equivalent) course and to have completed postgraduate coursework in research methods, statistics, and qualitative and/or mixed methods research.
