SP ED 5700 - Student Teaching: Visual Impairments (Birth-5)

Students are assigned a practicum setting with children birth - 3 (EI) and 3-5 (Preschool) under the direct supervision of a cooperating teacher for a total of 400 clock hours. Students will identify, analyze and interpret family issues, visual issues, mobility issues, maintain an evaluation system and implement and manage educational programs for families who have children with visual impairments. Student teaching must be either concurrent or following the completion of the Special Education Early Childhood Licensure.
