Prerequisites: Full Major status in BFA Studio Art OR  "C-" or better in (ART 2201 AND ART 2202 AND ART 2203 AND ART 2204 AND ART 2205 AND ART 2206 AND ART 2207 AND ART 2208)
Description
This is a beginning course with a concentration in the development of technical skills related to plastic fabrication, thermoforming, moldmaking, and casting. Students develop projects to introduce and develop skills in a variety of tools and processes. Background on the historical art contexts in which these materials and methods have come to importance will be presented in lectures and discussions.
