Description
Over the past decade, more and more people in the United States identify themselves as either being "spiritual" or both "spiritual and religious". This class is designed for all Osher participants, whether you identify as spiritual, religious, both, or neither. We will explore together the five forms of lifelong development, including the spiritual, emotional, cognitive, social, and physical. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in "serious play" as we use all four ways of knowing (science, logic, intuition, and imagination) to explore meaning, purpose, and connection in our lives. Your instructor is a retired University of Utah professor who has taught graduate and undergraduate classes at the U, including classes on spiritual development, for over 30 years.
