OSHER 282 - Fun Basic Watercolor

For beginners and intermediate painters, this class will introduce (or re-introduce) the foundations and basics of watercolor painting, along with a reminder that watercolor is FUN! We will then plan and execute watercolor paintings from concept to finished product. We will discuss basic colors, how to set up a palette, how to set up your workspace, color mixing, wet-in-wet and dry brush techniques, value, and color mixing. We will explore texture, sketching, tracing, and choosing subject matter that inspires us!
