Description
Great Decisions, put together by the national Foreign Policy Association (FPA), is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. Each year, a panel of experts from the organization picks the eight discussion topics for that year. We will read a chapter from their Great Decisions Briefing Book ahead of class, watch a 20-30 minute video provided by them at the beginning of class, and then have a robust discussion about the critical global issue at hand. Some sessions may have guest speakers. This is a two-part class. For Part I during the winter term, we will cover the first four topics selected for 2025. Part II will be in the spring term where we will cover the second half of the book and videos.
