LLPOT 957 - Utah's Onaqui Wild Horse Herd

View Utah's wild horses in their natural habitat with the Onaqui Catalogue Foundation. You'll learn about Utah's most iconic wild horse herd and how community-based citizen science is being used to document and share information about individual horses, behavior, social structures, foal births, and herd management. We'll start with a two-hour classroom session then, on Saturday, we'll meet at the entrance of the Onaqui Herd Management Area (HMA) located near Dugway on a quest to observe and catalogue the horses in the wild. The following session we'll meet online to share photos and video and discuss what we saw in the field.
