LLCFT 229 - Metalsmithing I

Explore the fundamentals of metalsmithing and become familiar with the basic tools used in this craft. You'll learn the properties of different metals while experiencing annealing and basic sawing, soldering, and finishing skills. You'll leave this class with a simple ring or pendant from the metal of your choice. All levels are welcome and no prior experience is required. Special fee is for tool rental and some supplies; students will purchase more supplies in class or order online with assistance from the instructor.
