DENT 7662 - Foundations in Educational Scholarship

Students will explore the foundations of educational scholarship. Students will read at least two educational scholarship papers and write a reflection paper on each, giving a brief description of the research and analyzing the relevance of the research to dental education generally and their proposed educational scholarship project specifically. Students will propose an original educational scholarship project. Students will report on their original project by submitting a paper including abstract, discussion, project hypothesis, materials & methods. If time permits, students may move forward with data collection, analysis, and conclusion.
