YESPR 50 - Build Your Own Longboard: Custom Pintails (Age 12-14)

In this week long course students will build their very own classic, pintail longboard from scratch using maple wood veneer and a simple wood press. Using hand tools and a little bit of sweat we will shape and sand our new boards. Once that new deck is looking smooth and just the way you want, we will customize with spray paint and stencils before putting on our trucks, wheels, and grip tape. And finally, after all that hard work, we will take our finished boards out for a test run for a safety check and to carve up the sidewalks. Co-sponsored with Higher Ground Learning.
