LLPOT 957 - 001 Utah's Onaqui Wild Horse Herd
This is an in-person class taught by Samantha Couper and Theresa Orison. The first meeting (Apr 21) takes place at the Continuing Education and Community Engagement building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). The second (Apr 23) meets at the entrance to the Herd Management Area (HMA), about a 1.5-hour drive from Salt Lake City. Specific directions will be given to registered participants in the first meeting. The main road on the HMA is packed dirt/loose gravel and generally very dusty. Please be sure you have a spare tire for your vehicle. This trip may require some light hiking. Binoculars, spotting scope, or cameras with zoom lenses are encouraged (the instructor will provide a scope and binoculars for participants to share). Class is limited to 10.
