MUSC 6822 - Voice Teaching Practicum

The course is a teaching practicum for voice lessons. The student will secure two voice students and will meet them for weekly, 45 to 60-minute voice lessons. The lessons will be documented in video for review and one-on-one feedback by the Instructor. Additionally, the student will meet with the Instructor by appointment additional times throughout the semester for Q&A. The singers taking lessons will be required to learn and perform repertoire in the Classical tradition and at least one other style (eg. Musical Theater, Contemporary Commercial Music).
