DANC 6740 - Graduate Lighting and Production

This course is designed to prepare modern dance graduate students to effectively comprehend and communicate in the field of stage lighting and production, dance business and administration, and technical direction for real-world application as a dancer, choreographer and educator. The course will include the theory of lighting for dance production and a practicum in lighting a specific dance work. Additionally, the integration of media as a design element in performance will be investigated.
