NURS 7693 - Community DNP Residency III

The final residency moves the advanced practice public health student to competency in clinical practice with in the community setting. Students will work with preceptors in a variety of settings to acquire the knowledge and skill required for advanced application to public health concepts, including application of community assessment, planning, program/project development, and evaluation skills appropriate for groups,communities, and organizations. Students will critically look at the issues of health care disparities and resources. Students, with faculty approval, may elect to complete 100% of clinical hours through study abroad or out of state placements.
