CSD 6340 - Autism Spectrum Disorders

This course will address development and impairment of language and communication in individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Differential diagnosis, assessment and intervention strategies are emphasized with a focus on empirically supported treatments and evidence-based practices. Current developments and research findings related to all aspects of assessment and intervention with individuals with ASD will be highlighted.
