Description
Fly fishing has no boundaries; everyone who loves the outdoors and nature can enjoy its benefits. Designed for the novice, this comprehensive course explores the art and philosophy of fly fishing, including equipment, safety, knots, entomology, and, of course, casting. We will spend one evening learning the basics, then head up to the Provo River for a day to test our new skills. You are responsible for your rod and reel (rentable at Western Rivers and others for $25/day); waders and boots are optional. A selection of flies and other tackle will be provided. Please bring a sack lunch.
