OSHER 143 - French: Intermediate

This class is especially designed for those who have a basic knowledge of French vocabulary and grammar ? for example, those who learned French a long time ago or who are progressing from a beginning class. Refresh and expand your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary and improve your conversational skills. Develop enough skill to be able to travel in one of the French speaking countries (France, Belgium, Switzerland, the West Indies etc.), to watch French movies in original version, and read French literature and newspapers in French. While the first class will provide instruction in English, over the duration of the course progressively more French will be used until students are comfortable asking questions in French and are able to understand the answers in French.
