Description
Flex your writing muscles in this fun, challenging, and imaginative class. Bring a piece of writing in any genre (draft form) to the first class, then spend the next six weeks rewriting it into at least two other genres. Starting with a memoir? Turn it into a poem and a film script. Have a short story? Experiment with mystery and romance. Or, if you prefer, you may rework your piece from differing points of view, eg, if your main character is a woman, your rewrite tells the story from her daughter or husband's point of view. Along the way, you will receive exercises, critiques, and instruction. This process is a great teacher, and it's fun, too!
