EDTEC 691 - Music Technology & Digital Audio Certification using Logic Pro

Introduction to music production using Apple's Logic Pro/ Express and Apple Certified Curriculum (Logic 101). Additional projects and topics include: music notation and file formats; the nature of sound, frequency, timbre, noise, periodic waves; the scientific basis for musical intervals, scales, and tuning; digital audio formats, sampling rate, bit depth; sub-mixes, parallel and serial effect sends, compression, EQ, reverb, and delay. For both musicians and non-musicians. This course meets with FA 3920-001. This course is also preparation for the test to become a Level 1 Certified End User of Logic.
