ELI 460 - Introduction to Functional Communication

This low-intermediate course is designed to help students improve skills in both listening and speaking in real, day-to-day situations. Topics might include describing jobs, talking about people, describing different cultures, and discussing entertainment, and this class prepares students for more academic and professional English at the higher levels. Outside activities in the community often are used to reinforce the skills learned in the classroom.
