FCS 3245 - Human Sexuality in a World of Diversity

Human sexuality is an essential part of human development and family relationships in our diverse world. Knowledge and understanding of one's sexuality are primary in order to make decisions regarding physiological and social aspects of one's sexual life. In this course we will study the biology, sexual health, birth control, STIs arousal and response, gender, orientation, myths, love, attraction, communication, abuse, and the media. The cultural, historical, and legal issues that pertain to these topics will be discussed.
