LLART 118 - Darkroom Photography

Do you admire the sophistication and dramatic beauty of black and white photography? Learn to create photos you'll be proud to display as we enhance your technical and composition skills and give you weekly hands-on practice with film development and darkroom printing. See the rich blacks, pure whites, and shadow and highlight detail you can achieve with knowledge and practice. Class is limited to four; each student will have his/her own enlarger. Zuzanna received a BFA in photography from Pratt Institute in New York City. After several years in the NY fashion industry, Zuzanna entered the U's MFA program, where she was awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship and has been teaching design and photography. She has worked as a freelance photographer since 2000 and shows her work extensively in galleries both nationally and internationally. This class is limited to four; you will have your own enlarger.
