OSHER 141 - Beginning Conversational Spanish - Level Two

This course is designed at the advanced beginner level in Spanish and with focus on further development of oral-aural skills through conversations and discussions in a relaxed and congenial atmosphere. Emphasis will be on fostering oral proficiency and further development of Hispanic cultural awareness. This course is intended for students with a basic knowledge of Spanish and a working acquaintance with the basics of pronunciation, vocabulary, and the phrases needed to communicate successfully using the language. The grammar exercises at this level will be related to everyday language and conversation. Students will engage in dialogues and practice giving instructions and directions to improve their conversational skills.
