YEHS 730 - Study and Test Taking Skills (Grade 7-8 and 9-12)

Taking the CRT, PSAT/NMSQT, UBSCT, and AP exams this year? Looking to fine-tune your study skills, acquire cutting-edge test taking techniques, and develop an academic edge? Addressing all learning styles, this class offers a highly innovative curriculum that will show you how to personalize your academic journey and help you navigate through the multitude of standardized tests you will be taking throughout your school career. With strategy and practice, we familiarize you with these exams, create suggested study schedules and give you the tools for confidence and success. Critical reading, math problem-solving, and writing skills are covered in this course. This course is comprised of four units: organization and prioritization, maximizing classroom learning, note-taking, and test preparation and test taking.
