YEACT 55 - Introduction to Animation (Age 9-12)

Learn the basics of half-a-dozen forms of animation: paper & pencil, stop-motion, rotoscoping, and more! Use everything from a light box to a computer to let your ideas flow. 100% hands-on. This is a good stepping-off point for later classes in computer animation, claymation, or traditional cell animation. Students will receive a DVD of their work at the end of the class. Drawing skills are helpful, but not required. Imagination is essential.
