PED 7120 - Clinical Genetics

The field of human genetics concerned with the study of the genetic aspects of human growth and development, and with the disorders that involve genetic mechanism. The student will evaluate individuals with genetically-related conditions, assist in all hospital consultations, and attend the various genetic clinics and conferences, including prenatal diagnosis. Experience in the cytogenetics laboratory is optional.
