FINAN 6880 - Creating An Investment Fund

Students will have a unique opportunity to participate in creating the infrastructure of the new Utah Education CRA Fund being formed by the David Eccles School of Business. This non-profit entity will manage a very large investment portfolio of funds sourced from several of Utah's largest Industrial Loan Corporations. Students will get hands-on experience in forming multiple investment portfolios, developing policies/procedures, implementing operating procedures, performing due diligence, assuring regulatory compliance, and developing an effective public relations program.
