YECU 39 - Awesome Arctic Adventures (Age 6-12)

Think wintertime means being stuck indoors? Think again because our Club U adventures keep on happening throughout the entire year! Snowshoe in awesome outdoor locations and search for wild Wasatch animals. See how the flora and fauna live in the wintertime while discovering your own outdoor skills. Weather permitting, student may have an opportunity to make a Quin-zhee or a snow shelter. Learn about the science behind lake effect and why it makes for such sweet skiing. Electives offered will be dependent on enrollment. Electives for 6-9 year olds may include natural science, visiting the Utah Museum of Natural History or the world of color and sound. Electives for 10 to 12-year-olds may include mapmaking and scavenger hunts or painting and drawing outdoor environments
