Specific dietary recommendations for training, competition, and basic dietary guidelines for a healthy foundation for physical fitness. The role of diet and exercise in the determination of body composition and weight management. Current recommendations for vitamin-mineral supplements, fluid-electrolyte beverages, and ergogenic aids. Focuses on interpreting and providing proper nutritional information for athletes.
