Description
A practical introduction to multivariate statistical methods as applied in business.
Topics to include multiple regression, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), principle components analysis, cluster analysis (hierarchical clustering, k-means), canonical correlation, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, and structural equations modeling -if time permits! Also a review of matrix algebra up through eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Emphasis will be given on the use of SPSS statistical software to implement statistical tools for approaching data problems in business; interpreting and analyzing the software's output.
