NURS 6199 - Psychosocial Aspects of Oncology

This interdisciplinary course is intended for persons who have an interest in behavioral and psychosocial aspects of cancer care, etiology and prevention. Students will study behavioral, psychological, and social factors in determining cancer morbidity and mortality, psychological and familial responses to a cancer diagnosis or susceptibility to the disease, and interventions to reduce morbidity.
