Description
Whether you're pursuing a career in media relations, marketing, business, politics, or numerous other fields, an understanding of the written language of public relations is essential. This one-day course teaches persuasive writing skills and effective delivery of PR messages. The course focuses on the writing process and style for media releases and alerts, news story pitches, video news releases, feature stories, public service announcements, newsletter copy, and Web copy. Students will be encouraged to engage in the discussions, practice their public relations writing skills, and will leave the class with useful writing tools.
