YEART 500 - Intensive Art Seminar II (Age 11-15)

So you're well on the road to becoming the next VanGogh. What next? This intensive seminar takes you beyond the basics to explore new mediums, new techniques and new untapped areas of your imagination. Work with acrylic, watercolor, clay, oil, pastels and even wire. Then roll-up your sleeves to sculpt 3-D works, experiment with printmaking and even make your own wearable mask. Discuss why art is important to the community and learn to develop your own art likes and dislikes. Finish off the class by making invitations to the student exhibit held on the last day of class. Course content and curriculum is updated each semester so students can continue their artistic progression.
