Could your home use a little more space? Do you want to stay in your home, but can't decide if it is better to build out into your yard, develop your attic space, or add another level? This course helps you make informed decisions by discussing curb appeal; integrating the new with the character of the old; tying in the roof; structural considerations such as stairways, skylights, and if the new construction will hold up in an earthquake or create load-bearing problems; zoning issues; and construction costs.
