Description
This introduction to Macromedia's Fireworks tours the application's interface, palettes, preferences and options. The focus will be on web-graphics and creating output for the Internet, and we will take an in-depth look at Firework's tools, and how it compares to Adobe's Photoshop. Topics presented include creating graphics, working with and modifying selections and vector shapes, using paths, type, layers, frames, slicing, image transparency, etc. We will also look into how to integrate Fireworks graphics with Macromedia's Dreamweaver and look into how those two applications in particular work hand-in-hand. This class assumes a beginner's knowledge of Macromedia's Dreamweaver. Knowledge of Adobe's Photoshop & ImageReady would prove useful, though not necessary. Note: This course applies to our new Web Design Tools Certificate program.
