Description
In this week-long accelerated program, you will learn how to transition your native, print-ready Photoshop and Illustrator documents for the Internet. Advanced concepts covered will include resolution discrepancies, channel modes, basic key frame-based animation, hotspots, slicing, etc. We will then use Macromedia Dreamweaver to organize, optimize, and lay out these documents for use on the web in the form of either .gif or .jpg or vector-based Flash animations. Advanced concepts covered will include complicated site template construction, nested templates, local vs. remote organizational techniques, HTML uses (and when not to use it), HTML vs. CSS style sheets, etc. By the completion of the course, you will be able to take basic or complex graphics/designs/layouts made in your image-creation app (PS/AI) to color-optimized, fast-loading web-ready graphics on the Internet.
