LLREC 675 - Birds for Beginners at the Bear River Bird Refuge

Witness fall migration at beautiful Bear River Bird Refuge. We'll identify between 50 and 75 species of birds, including migratory and resident shore birds and water fowl as well as herons, egrets, and pelicans. Friday night we'll discuss bird-watching tools and identification techniques. We'll also preview the birds we'll see through slides and discussion and set up carpools for the morning drive. Mark was the educational director at Tracy Aviary for 11 years. He currently owns Westwings Inc., a Salt Lake City-based birding tour company.
