YEHS 401 - Biology (Grade 9-12)

Study cell biology, heredity/genetics, diversity and evolution, and ecology. Understand both animal and plant points of view in a hands-on biology experience. Get involved in the lab through research by 'doing.' Inquiry and observation will occur in the class as well as in the field including field trips to Red Butte Garden and Arboretum and various other research facilities on campus. (Each section is recommended for one-half high school core science credit. The two sections should be taken consecutively for a full year of high school credit.)
